REINFORCEMENT GUSSET 

 

 

The Reinforcement Gusset is one of our newer developments in the technical Textile Narrow Fabrics.

The Product is made of a bulky central material with knitted lips on both the sides. The product is mainly aimed at strengthening the corner joined composites. We can customise the size of the central bulk along with the width of lips according to customer needs.

 

• The gusset can be made of different material Carbon, Fiberglass, Aramid fibres, Basalt, Polypropylene and also in combination of different material to suit customer requirements.
• Twisted cords, Ply yarn of just straight yarn with different thickness to make different diameter can be knitted in the centre core.
• The width of the lip can be increased or decreased depending on the customer requirement.
• The lip extension on both sides improves the attachment and drapability of the product.
• Continuous load transmission with the weft yarn in combination with the central core and the knits offers improved load reinforcement.
• The Gusset can either be placed in the preform or can be laminated on prefinished components.
• The openness of the structure provides a good penetration for the resin.

 

 

 REINFORCEMENT TAPE

The Reinforcement Tape is one of our newer developments in the technical Textile Narrow Fabrics.

The Product is made Vertical knits with technical yarn laid Horizontally. We can customise width and Density of the Technical yarn according to customer needs.

 

• The Reinforcement tape can be used as a strengthening tape for products requiring horizontal strength. It can also be use for strengthening cracks and can be laminated on prefinished products.
• The horizontal technical yarn in the tape if used in preformed ways helps in uniform distribution of the pulled Resin along with providing additional strength.
• The Tape can be made of different material Carbon, Fiberglass, Aramid fibres, Basalt, Polypropylene and also in combination of different material to suit customer requirements.
• The width of the tape can be increased or decreased depending on the customer requirement.
• Continuous load transmission with the weft yarn in combination with the knits offers improved load reinforcement and dupability
• The openness of the structure provides a good penetration for the resin.
